Division 5

Well done to the division 5 lads who had a remarkable second half to leave Ballymore last Wednesday with a one point victory. The lads trailed by 3-07 to 0-05 at the interval but two second half goals from Sean Loughlin allowed our lads the chance to fight their way back into the game and they left it late only snatching the winner in the dying minutes. The result means we have topped the division 5 table for 2019, well done to the management and panel. Full Time 2-15 to 3-11.

Minor League

Our minor lads have kept up their impressive performances in recent weeks by first over coming Mullingar Shamrocks and then St. Loman’s last Wednesday in The Downs on a score line 6-15 to 2-04, Charlie Drumm got two penalties as well as Kevin O’ Sullivan, Ben Harte, Adam Coneelly and Liam Moran also getting their names on the goal list.

Well done to our u10 team that won the Tommy Lennon Tournament in Springfield last Sunday. The lads got wins against Leixlip, St. Jude’s, Mullingar Shamrocks, Mullahoran and St. Loman’s in the final. Big thanks to Mullingar Shamrocks as always they were excellent hosts.
