Division 1

Our Division 1 side played host to Castledaly last Wednesday in the fifth round of the league. Unfortunately, The Downs didn’t perform to the maximum and the visitors took advantage through a late penalty to take the points. Full Time 2-10 to 0-14

Division 3

Our Division 3 side continued their impressive start to this year’s campaign with a convincing 2-16 to 2-11 score line over. Garrycastle last Saturday evening. Ian Martin netted in both halves to ensure The Downs Ran our five-point winners, having being level at half time.

Division 5

Our Division 5 team got their second victory of this year’s league with a win away to Castledaly last Friday evening. Two early goals from Darragh Monaghan and Shane Carroll set The Downs on their way to victory. The Downs defence remained on top for much of the game and got forward when the chances arose through Conor Gavin, Ciaran Seery and Cian Carty to create some good flowing moves securing a comprehensive win. Full Time 4-10 to 1-11.
