This win secured  division 3 football  for 2017 this was an excellent team display defensibly  only conceding 7 scores and the attack completely on top taking some great scores. This display was and encouraging way to end the year for this team.

AGM

We had our AGM on Saturday last thanks to everyone who attended and participated in the discussions of the past year and for  2017.

End of an era: This AGM saw the   Matt Carley retire  from the post of treasurer after 47 years of impeccable service to his beloved Na Dúnta,Matt and received many tributes and a standing ovation at the meeting. Go raibh míle maith agat a chara. Matt.. The other change on the night saw Shane Carroll take over the PRO position, Shanes contact details will be in next week’s notes. I encourage all sections of the club to support Shane in his new role.

The Downs Ladies Football

Clothes Collections 

The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags of clothes can be left with any team coach or committee member. Please ask family, neighbours, friend and co-workers to fill a bag.

Clothes can be left in the Blue Bin beside the scoreboard.
